General Ultrasound Studies

Ultrasound can be used to look at all the internal organs of the body with high resolution imaging. It is commonly used as the initial investigation for complaints and symptoms to screen for abnormalities. Ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves to produce images with no known side effects.

Musculoskeletal and Interventional

Commonly used to assess the soft tissue, tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints throughout the body. We can assess acute injuries as well as investigate chronic pain. 

We also offer cortisone and local anaesthetic injections.

Obstetrics/Gynaecology

We can look after you through ever step of your pregnancy from the dating scan, full morphology and third trimester growth scans. We also offer First Trimester Combined Screening or Down Syndrome Screening. 

Assessments for common complaints and symptoms of the uterus and ovaries.

Vascular

Vascular ultrasound looks at the bloods circulatory system. We can assess your body's blood flow to the brain, organs and extremities as well as look for abnormalities.

Ultrasound can be used to look at Varicose Veins, malformations. aneurysms or unusual anatomy.
